The shampoo is great. It is very thick, making it hard to get into and out of extra fluffy coats (I have a mini Aussie who is downright sheep like). After the first use, we had a little bit of doggie dandruff. As a fix, I made my own dilution bottle. I rinsed out an old clear shampoo bottle really well, and put a little bit of soap in there and about twice as much warm water. I gave it a swirl and a shake, and then it worked like magic! Less dandruff! At least, what dandruff we do have isn't there because I left soap in his coat. Bonus - it will last longer this way!
