At this time, this review is mostly so I can supply people with pictures to help them get a better idea of size. I have only had this for a short period of time and for now the clear plastic flap is tucked up under the area below the filter as the box arrived warped. The flap can easily be pushed aside when a cat enters the box, but because of the warp, the flap catches on one side when the cat tries to exit, trapping the cat inside. I will have to file down one side of the flap, I just have not had the chance to do so yet. It wasn't enough of an issue to warrant sending it back, but I was still disappointed. In any case, without the flap, the cats had no problems or fear of the new box. It was more than big enough for even my largest cat, who bounces between 16-18lbs and is basically a domesticated panther. The back was high enough that none of them could pee such that the liquid would run out the seam. Another reviewer complained about the plastic lip making up the floor of the doorway making it difficult to scoop, but there's no issue there; just come at it from a different angle (back going towards front) and it's fine. Additionally, unless you plan on moving this box a lot, there's no real reason to lock the top down, so you can lift the top off completely to scoop your poop, too. I noticed that the plastic seems to be coated with something non-stick, none of the waste sticks to the box, which was nice; everything slid off slicker than sh_t (ha!). I suspect that will change over time in spots where they pee most often, though, the urine will likely etch the plastic and ruin the non-stick effect. I will update this once the cats have had time to use the shaved door flap. For now, I've uploaded a number of pictures with a ruler, a soda can and cats for size reference. The orange cat is a little dude of around 8lbs, the black one is my house panther and is twice the size of the orange one.
