When my hair dryer died on me I came on here to look for another. I had NO idea there were so many! I got online and did some extensive hair dryer research. Not only are there so many but there are SEVERAL different types, as well. There are different wattages. When shopping for a hair dryer, you want to purchase one which has a wattage in the range of 1800 to 2000. A hair dryer that has high wattage, such as this one, will have more wind power and will cut down your styling time without having the damaging, excessive heat. I've noticed a big cut down in drying time, using this dryer. My hair is SUPER thick and coarse so it takes a great blow dryer for my hair to get the job done. Being that this dryer is IONIC it's going to be much more effective at scattering the water on the hair shaft, preventing it from soaking in and causing that ugly frizz we all don't want. Ionic blow dryers also speed up dry time. Since it is also CERAMIC, it's going to evenly distribute the heat as evenly and gently as possible. It makes the heat less harsh and more consistent in temperature. CERAMIC hair dryers also emit negative ions which will also speed up drying time and smooth frizz. As if the stated above wasn't enough, this dryer is also an INFRARED one which means it uses longer energy wavelengths to penetrate the hair and dry it from the inside out. I couldn't BELIEVE that I had found a hair dryer that is IONIC, CERAMIC AND INFRARED, as well as having the perfect wattage. Also, the price is a very big plus. You won't find a better hair dryer at this price. Revlon has really outdone themselves with this product. It is also beautiful in design and has the perfect grip. I love the gray and pearlish colors. Very modern and unique in style.
