Ok, long story lol. I have had several dogs over the years, but my current dog is the first to have anal glad issues. His glands express when he is sleeping or just relaxing. He's a miniature dachshund so this is normally on my lap or in bed. Barf!!! It's horrendous. I tried so many supplements and foods and some helped a bit but we just had to deal with it happening once or twice a week. His poop just wasn't firm enough most of the time. Recently he had an infected anal gland and I was horrified. The vet suggested metamucil or pumpkin but he is so picky I figured I would search again for something to help him. I'm so glad I did! He absolutely loves the cheese flavor and I think he will eat cardboard if I sprinkle this on. I read the directions and full description, but the company sent me a letter as well. I started very slow! My dog had zero side effects, so I gave him a little more until we are at 1/2 a tablespoon twice a day (he's 18 lbs). It's been not even 2 weeks and omg his poop is...dare I say "perfect"?? I can't believe it! It's too soon to tell if this will really resolve the glanding once and for all but I'm hopeful! Seriously I can't tell you how gross it is lol. Thanks Bernie! Update: It's been several months and Money has not had ANY gland mishaps!! I really cannot praise this stuff enough. Truly a lifesaver!!! 2021 update: In case anyone was curious....2 YEARS later and no problems...or smells. Unbelievable. Thank you again Bernie! <3
