I am a freelance anesthesia provider which means that I live in hotels when I'm not home. This is the same model my dentist uses to protect himself, his staff and his patients so I thought I'd give it a try. I've been burdened with asthma and multiple environmental allergies for decades and this little machine has been WONDERFUL! I bought it in June and having been using it daily since I "moved" into my Bangor, Maine hotel. I have it on medium when I sleep, low when I'm out but on HIGH on housekeeping day. The hotel is doing only once a week service which is fine by me! The less traffic into my room, the better. The reason I keep it on high when they are in the room is that I don't know if the staff is wearing their masks correctly. Covid19 is spread by droplets and those droplets will be suspended in the air after they have left. BUT with this HEPA filtration device, the air is cleaned in 15 minutes!! Another wonderful use is when cigarette smoke steals in through the vents from some jerk who is smoking in their room against the rules. I place the machine next to me and in minutes, I can breathe normally again and the room is clean! Fabulous fabulous fabulous! I have recommended this to many people, patients included especially those who travel and those with respiratory ailments.
