This is one of the worst types of shampoo for your hair (unless your hair is prone to greasiness), but that's why it's PERFECT for me. Allow me to elaborate: Any shampoo that advertising as "cleaning" strip your hair of natural oils and also get rid of "gunk" in your hair, like hair dye. I accidentally dyed my hair too dark, and I want to fade it relatively healthily. (Ie, with over-washing, no bleach, no color strippers, with lots of deep conditioner.) Additionally, any shampoo that has sulfate in it (which is most shampoos, regardless of price) is bad for your hair. Read: Dye fading :D What do you do when you want to protect color? AVOID sulfate-laden, clarifying, cleaning shampoos, avoid over-washing, and use minimal shampoo. To fade color without too harsh of chemicals? The exact opposite. It's already working perfectly for what I need it for. Just three washes have made a difference. I'm honestly surprised this has such good reviews though, as I'm sure most people don't use it for the reason I am. Side note: Amazon is amazing. I accidentally somehow ordered it for pickup, didn't bother to pick it up, and also didn't even bother to message customer service about it. (What can I say? This was two dollars...) Surprisingly enough, it showed up on my door step a few days later.
