I'm a believer! I picked the Coredy R300 because of the reviews and it was in my budget. I've had it now for 3 weeks. Living in the country we and the dogs are always bring stuff from outside. Add to that dog hair, lots of dog hair. Our main living area is ~1500sf with 3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room, pantry, and laundry room. All vinyl flooring with lots of area rugs that have different thicknesses. The manual is easy to read and I recommend new users to start there. I started with running it during the day to get used to how it works and to keep an eye on the dust bin. "Rosie" as I call her, has no problems adjusting suction and height for the different thicknesses of the many area rugs (see video). I do make sure the floors are clear of cords, clothes, or anything else that can get tangled (just like any other vacuum). After each use I empty the dust bin. Rosie is not loud, just a steady whirling sound. There were a couple of areas that she got stuck but I fixed that. The remote is basic with a timer and 5 cleaning modes and simple to use which I appreciate. The modes are 1) AUTO starts with Zig-Zag then random pattern and edges. 2) SPOT cleans a localized area by spiraling outward 3 ft then inwards to where it started. 3) LOWER SUCTION reduces vacuum power for a lower suction clean. 4) EDGE cleans along the walls and around furniture legs. 5) SINGLE ROOM cleans for 30 minutes and then stops. I now have it scheduled at midnight in AUTO mode and it makes me happy to wake up to clean floors. I can walk barefooted now. Everywhere I look clean! No more dog hair in the corners. Under the stove, clean! Under the bed, clean! Even my husband has noticed the clean floors. So much I got the green light to buy another one for rest of the house that's on a different level. YAY!
