Is it a balm? Is it a lipstick? Yes! It’s both! I bought the dusty orchid shimmer and it’s a great color on me. My skin tone has a lot of peach but my gray hair completely dominates the colors that look good on me. All the cool colors that looked terrible on me look great now. This dusty orchid has mauvey rose undertones. It is very moisturizing on my sensitive lips. It’s not long wearing but that happens when you want moisturizing. I was surprised at how well pigmented this is. The middle of the stick is a clear balm and yet it looks like a lipstick on. There isn’t a glittery nor shiny look. Just a satiny finish. I’m loving this!! Update: I bought the vintage mauve color and it was a bit to gray for my taste.
