I enjoyed this game quite a bit. I found that, for the most part, I could play for several hours each day if I split my play into multiple sessions and was smart about talisman use and helping friends. However, as you gain levels, pictures require more energy to "research" so there are diminishing gains. The energy that once allowed me to play through 10 pictures, only allows me to play through 5 at higher levels, so it got to the point where my several hours were slowly whittled down to about 30 minutes, maybe 45 if I could manage to gain a level (which I was still doing about every other day). I do appreciate that you aren't required to spam Facebook for friends. The game gives you the option of inviting strangers to be your friends. So that was nice. But once you've played for a couple dozen levels, the game really tries to make you buy things in order to play.
