First, I'm NOT been paid for this review. Nor am receiving any cupom or discount. I ordered the 12' foam queen. Arrived on time, rolled and inside a well done package. We opened the package and left it to return to its ideal form for 24 hours. I am a 6'0 - 216lbs guy and my wife 5'9 I do have some back pain and decided to never more buy any spring mattress. The real reason for that is unless you have $1000 or more on your budget for the mattress, you will never buy a really quality spring one. And in my humble opinion spring mattresses get damaged when compressed. Here in the US people love soft mattresses. I spent some time in lots of countries and for example in south america 80% of people buy foam only, and what is medium there, it is hard as hell here in the US. Japan is another level, hard as steel. So lets get into the first impressions: After 24 hrs it expanded 100% ✅ Smell: From a level 0-5 the smell is a 2. It smells not bad, like new foam. It did not make any damage to my asthma. Fabric: Poor 👎🏻 (Thumbs down) This is one of the few cons of this mattress. It looks very thin and cheap. I suspect the reason for that is because the foam could not fully expand if it was thicker. But a thumbs up is that THERE IS NO SIGN OF FIBERGLASS FABRIC OUTSIDE 👏🏻 ( thumbs up) Lets talk about the layers. From the sidewall I can put my hand and count 3 layers. The top layer is a very comfortable memory foam (around 2inches) The second layer is a soft/medium foam layer (again 2inches) then the other third layer is a medium/hard foam one . If you are a side sleeper or belly up this mattress is perfect. For belly down sleepers I think you could feel it a little bit hard. Softness rate in my opinion is a 6.5 (0-10) So I could tell you It is exactly what I was looking for, a medium+ feel. But as I said, if you are a longtime spring mattress sleeper and like it soft, I would recommend to try it on a physical store. Hope it helped you to decide or not.
