At 5 months my little teething guy was already dying to get his mouth on everything he held. I got him started out on these before we started baby led weaning, but just for teething. He loved to hold them right away and knew exactly what to do. He was ready when we put something smashed on the spoon at 6 months. He’s learning all the time to use it better as he gets older. They’re so soft and even when he pokes himself in the top of his mouth he doesn’t seem bothered. As opposed to the plastic spoons we used for our other kids. Love love these! Can’t say enough great things. They’re so easy for him to grip and hold on to. He liked to chew on the bottom of the spoon quite a bit as well!
