I originally purchased this to slice potatoes to make potato roses (see picture), now I use it every chance I get to slice veggies. This was so easy and quick. I thinly sliced 6 potatoes in less than 5 minutes. I am actually thinking about making scalloped potatoes again. I haven't made that in years because it was such a pain to slice the potatoes with a knife.
