OK, but could be better…
This unit has plenty of power, it’s effective and mostly easy to use, and the choice of AC or DC makes it much more convenient and versatile than DC only. But it is lacking in several areas that could make it a 4-star, rather than a 5-star item:
As others have mentioned, it shows the proper pressure of both the current pressure and the set pressure in the display, however, according to my precision gauge it shuts off about 1.5 psi below the set pressure, so I have been setting it 1.5 psi higher; that works, it’s just an unnecessary inconvenience.
The air hose was so short on the older version that you couldn’t inflate a large tire with the unit on the ground. In this new model that has been fixed; for an additional $5 on the price the hose is now 21.65 inches, which should be adequate for most applications. Stowage of the air hose on the back of the unit is very good, but requires some fiddling with any twist in the hose to get it to settle in. The fitting for the valve stem is excellent, a precise lever snap on connector that loses little air when installing and removing.
However, the manufacturer chintzes on small items such as few feet of wire, that would make this a more usable product. The DC cord is 10.5’ feet, so you may or may not make it comfortably from the 12V auxiliary outlet to all four tires on a large vehicle. The AC cord is only 5’, a joke. You will almost always need an extension cord to really use it. Not a deal breaker, just an inconvenience.
As others have also mentioned there is a zippered pouch for the unit, but it does not have internal space or external pockets for the two power cords and adapters. You may want to use the box to keep everything together.
