We owned a mini-type electric grill for many, many years. It was simple with just a metal body, electric heat rod and the grill on the top. Then it failed and that was that. My partner, who does all the cooking, saw the Excelvan grill and had me look it over. It looked well built and had extra features that made sense - so we purchased it. This grill is remarkable! It includes: a side controlled thermostat, a tray to put water in to keep meats juicy as you grill them and best of all is extremely easy to clean! This grill is the best for value and ease of use. I would recommend purchasing this grill over all others that have the same features - simply because of its common sense design, safety and ease of use.
