The product is exactly as described. It serves the purpose of my attempt at "renewing" a rather worn/old memory foam-like matress topper that's about 4" thick uncompressed. I do wish there were different color options other than "bright white" but with a set of sheets you don't really need to see it all the time. It's a little soft, but actually provides a slightly more "firm and dense" feel than my old matress topper so its rather ideal. The stretchy material could easily accomodate a much thicker mattress topper as well. I'm not sure about the durability as I've only been using it for a few weeks, but it is much cheaper than purchasing a "fresh" mattress topper and gives me the desired and expected result of a slightly more firm sleeping surface.
