Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

USAF issued me a Source hydration pack during training and at first I thought it was the result of some kind of shady DoD contract or something since I'd never heard of Source. After a few years of hard use in various climates, I came to appreciate the quality. Maintenance was minimal, taste was excellence, and durability was far beyond other similar products. The parts that finally broke were the string attached to filling cap (which is corrected by this new design), and the bite valve (also different on this one). To be fair, both wore out from overuse (sometimes mild abuse). I bought this Source Outdoors Widepack Hydration Reservoir System (Transparent Blue, 3-Litres ) to fit inside my Maxpedition Falcon-II Backpack, and so far the system is working fine. I'm happy to see Amazon stocking Source products now; they weren't when I checked just a few months ago. I trust it will hold up as well as my previous Source pack, and will be sure to update this review if it doesn't. Click 'yes' if helpful!
