Appears to work as advertised
Appears to give a reasonable indication of water hardness. I tested it on tap water with a reported hardness of 225 grains per gallon, seemed to be right on.Next I checked commercial distilled water, showed zero grains per gallon.I tried a roughly 50-50 mixture and it indicated approximately 125 grains per gallon. The color matching scale has a wider range between the intermediate readings than I would prefer, but overall it works.
