Update needed
It's great, but it needs some new features. First, more Pokemon! Sword and Shield had a lot of new Pokemon, and I think you could fit more than just the starter trio in very nicely. Next, shinies! Shines wouldn't be so much work. Just give all Pokemon that hatch a 1 in 4000 chance to be their corresponding shiny color, flash a star in the background whenever shinies do their animations and... Done! Then we have legendary visits! Having legendary Pokemon visit you every once in a while would be amazing. You could even have a time-based thing going on with the Sun and Moon legendaries! (Solgaleo can only visit during the day, and Lunala can only visit at night) And, if you work hard enough to please them, you may even be able to befriend them! Next, online play! You could create your own avatar and visit other people's playhouses, provided you've made in-game friends with them. You might even help them out! Lastly, a market! You could earn Pokedollars for helping out you friends, and if you have enough, you can buy things like new locations, or Pokemon evolutions you don't get immediately after coming. That's all. Overall, this game is very good, but feels slightly unfinished. Add these features, and the game will be a whole lot better!
