Budget line of Levi...stop the hate.
Okay folks did some research, because I WANTED to HATE on these. These are the WaterLess jeans of SIGNATURE by LEVI Strauss & Co. One of the main differences between Levi's and Levi Strauss Signature is the price. The Signature line was created to meet the needs of a more value-conscious consumer. It is considered a budget line available at a lower cost. Okay now that that is out of the way, and I understand the backstory, I will quit the hate. At least a major company is trying to help Main Street in some kind of way. At 5'6" weight 185 with a 42 - 32 - 44, I also have "thunder thighs" and the jeans are 33x32 so that means they are a whole inch longer than necessary...pity they do not offer a short on this site. Tag stats: 78% Cotton - 20% Polyester - 2% Elastic...for the record Spandex is just an anagram of the word "expands". Same stuff guys. Back to business, these jeans cling...nawl strangulate my big ole thighs like jeggings. Ladies you NEED a BELT. When you dip, they slip, and drip. It is not a total plumber feel, but you'll know it if "the Hawk" came whizzing through. For my own personal dimensions it would serve me no good to get a larger size for my thighs because the waist would be too large. So this 16/33 is a good...well the only fit for me. I can understand why people on here feel they were duped as the material feels like well let's call them what they are - stretchpants/jeggings/bikerpants. They probably thought they were getting the Western Classic Bootcut Jean which is a Levi 715 and has 92% Cotton - 6% Polyester - and 2% Elastic. Nope. That ain't it chief. Aiiight... to sum it all up: this is NOT a heavier weight denim.
