I LOVE these socks. I'm a nurse and will be on my feet for most of my 12.5+ hour shift. I had heard from many other nurses how much of a difference compression socks would make in leg fatigue, so I ordered a pair of these. I also ordered another pair from the same maker, but a different model (one of their "recovery" models). I FAR prefer THIS pair with the extra padding on the sole. For those wondering about the sizing, I wear a women's 10.5 shoe and have a 17.5" calf and the medium fits me well, especially in the foot. I couldn't imagine going with the Large, as the size chart says I should wear. Definitely tight around the calf, but I like that.
