I had a plastic sink trap that eventually cracked. While it did a great job catching debris, it constantly would fill up and I'd have to go digging in mid-wash to clear it. The trap that came with my sink is useless. In the market for a new drain trap, I saw this. Great reviews, right price and I'm soooo happy with my purchase. It's fits perfectly, sits low in the drain so pots and pans don't knock it around. I love its flexible silicone. Plastic ones break, metal rusts and I find difficult to clean. I love it. it's amazing how such little things can make life a little easier.
