I live in a nice top floor apartment with floor to ceiling windows, and during the summer my power bill can scare small children. A friend of mine suggested nixing the dryer and hanging my clothes to save some money so I bought this on a whim. So glad I did. It's more than paid for itself in one month. Also, all my old favorite shirts & jeans are no-longer subjected to the wear & tear of a typical cycle. And when I'm done with it, it neatly folds up and fits between my washer and dryer. And for reference, I generally over-fill my standard sized washing machine, and haven't had a problem finding space for the entire load each time (using coat hangers for the shirts, of course). Even unfolded to it's largest dimensions and fully loaded, I've had no problem moving it across the floor.
