I'm really confused as to why people are giving this product such bad reviews. The ruggies held my area rug on my wood floor perfectly fine. I have a low pile area rug in my living room and I also have a 67lb pitbull that likes to romp and play on it. It was slipping and sliding every where. I didn't want to buy carpet tape because I used it on my floor before and it left sticky tape residue all over my floor and I spent hours with some goo gone trying to scrape it off. Never again. I went on amazon in hopes to find a better alternative to keep rugs in place and found these ruggies. You HAVE to use the double sided sticky tape it comes with or else the ruggie itself is not going to stick to your carpet. Stick the black side of the tape onto the ruggie, peel the yellow sticker off, stick it to your carpet, and press it down on the floor. Your rugs will not move - trust me. My dog ran all over my rug and it stayed in place. Love it. I'm docking one star though because I think they should automatically have that sticky side on the ruggie instead of as an extra step. Probably confused a lot of customers.
