UPDATE! 10-22-2015 The seller was very apologetic about the camera I receieved and sent another one out free of charge in hopes that I would update my review. The new camera arrived and all is well. The new camera has no battery issues like the previous one and is inline with all of the other reviews for this camera. Now I don't have a $300-400 GoPro camera to compare this camera to, but I can say, this is a lot of camera for the money. If you are thinking of getting a GoPro camera, this would definately be a low cost alternative. Big thanks to the seller for stepping up.I purchased this camera based on the reviews. However I was a little skeptical about such positive reviews where there was a disclaimer at the bottom of most, if not all, positive reviews, saying reviewers were rewarded for posting a positive review. I went ahead with the purchase. Camera arrived quickly, and here are my thoughts on this camera. The pros and the cons. Pros Lots of accessories included to mount this camera to just about anything. Nice case to keep all of the parts/accessories in. Price, however, you generally get what you pay for. Cons *The insructions with the camera are incorrect for setting up the Wifi app. The wifi SSID is different than the one listed in the instructions. *The wifi app, once connected, would freeze and crash occasionally (I am using an iPhone 5s). *The camera menus definately need some work. On some of the settings menu, there is no way to go back and you have to reboot it. *Camera audio is horrible when connected to Wifi and the camera is in the plastic case. Some sort of background distortion that renders the audio useless. *The camera's battery would not charge past 50% no matter how long I left the camera connected to the charger. * The last straw for me was, after one day of use, the camera's battery would not hold a charge. Maybe I got a bad battery with mine. Overall the concept of getting a GoPro like camera for around $80 drew me in. Buyer beware. Read the end of all of these reviews on this camera, most positive reviewers have been compensated. I was promised a battery and charger for a positve review. This sort of tactic I feel undermines and taints the trustworthyness of the Amazon review process. Sending it back for a full refund. I will update this review if there are any snags with my refund.
