I bought this to replace one I had for years. It seems to be the only heater with an accurate thermostat. -All- 1500 Watt heaters give out the exact same amount of heat, whether it is a $30 box with glowing ribbons inside or a big piece of wooden furniture with a fancy looking heater inside. An oil filled radiator gives off heat when you shut it off because of how long it took to get warm in the first place. How these thing react to changing conditions is the only difference. This heater has a circuit board for clock, timer and accurate thermostat.
