If you read the instructions and roll them up like a little burrito and put them in your ears and let them expand back, then they work pretty well. I have small ear canals so I wasn't too sure about these but they did help me block out noise to study and to sleep. I reuse them a couple of times before I throw them away but this tub will last a long time.
