I purchased these brushes solely for watercolour and I’m actually quite impressed withthem so far. They hold a lot of liquid and are great for Watercolour. For the price you’re getting a rocking deal because they are actual sable brushes. Nowhere does it say 100% kolinsky anywhere on the advertisement, therefore you should pay close attention first and not run your mouth and bash amazon with a crappy review as I have read here. A “Superior Red sable“ is what is advertised and it is not a false ad. Red sable is so much better than synthetic and these work just as well as my dìvinci’s! If you follow the care instructions and know anything about even kolinsky sable brushes you would know that all brushes will loose a few hairs at first. It happens if you read any packaging thoroughly they do tell you this. So I highly recommend these brushes especially for a beginner who isn’t ready to drop 100$ on a single brush, you don’t have to! These are the brushes you should definitely purchase first. If you care for your brushes they hold a point just fine!
