UPDATE: David, from Forest Leaf, contacted me directly to apologize. It turnes out, the loss of servings was in fact due to a manufacturing issue which caused the scoop to be too large. They sent me a complimentary container of collagen and another Forest Leaf product. I've updated my review one star based on customer service but since I'm already using another bottle, the final star will come if there is 41 servings in the new container based on the new scoop size. I appreciate that they read their reviews and look into them and make corrections when necessary. The con here would be, anyone tracking macros and using the previous spoon has been unknowingly over consuming this protein. The company should put a disclaimer on the product and show the new scoop for true admirable accountability. FIRST REVIEW.. but I still ordered a second time. Let me explain. I'm a woman just shy of my 40th birthday. Although, overall I'm thankful for the way I'm aging, I have noticed my hair and nails have gotten a little dry and my hips and knees are achy. Based on a suggestion, I started reading about collagen, how and when the body produces it, when the body slows down production and the benefits of supplementing. I started taking this Forest Leaf collagen on 9/15. For the first two week, I filled the scoop slightly under the edge but then I noticed there are three rings around the scoop, much like the fill lines in the lid of a detergent container. I started to fill it to the top ring leaving about a quarter inch+ of space at the top of the scoop. I still ran out after 34 servings. I read another review stating the servings size was incorrect and that is a fact. In my reading about collagen, it was recommended to take a supplement for a full 90 days to determine whether or not the supplement was having any positive effects. Because this product is in fact tasteless, has no odor and mixes well, I decided to purchase it again rather than take a chance with one of the hundreds of others out there. Pros so far: - no odor - no taste - mixes well in hot liquid - long handled scoop is helpful **have not noticed any change in my hair, skin or nails after 34 days. **have not noticed any change in my hip and knee joints Cons so far: - package does not contain 41 servings - package does not provide instruction on whether the lines on the scoop are fill lines or if they are simply part of the design - if they are fill lines, the package should also have ingredient measurements according to which fill line one chooses to use I'll update after finishing container two.
