I got this product around Thanksgiving as an early Christmas gift. I had been wanting this for sometime. Every time I've had a fire with this thing, which has been about 5 times, it had been awesome. It isn't as shiny as it was when I first I got it. The outside has a gold look and the inside is dark and charged from where the fire got hot, but it is still very strong. I know alot of people are worried about losing the silver stainless steel look to it, but that is just what happens when you have a fire going in this thing. The secondary burn is so memorizing. The best way to describe it it looks like liquid fire. It's easy to get started, but make sure to use alot of smaller wood so you can get hot coals going at the bottom. Once you have those hot coals it's smokeless and will burn up any wood you throw in it. Now for those that might be concerned with having to leave it out over night especially if rain is on the way. Get the Campfire defender. It's a fireproof blanket, that will cover the Solostove. I've put the link up. This is a huge life saver for this thing.
