So, this is my first review. The old man and I bought a house, unknowing that the State bird of Alabama is the horse fly. The horseflies are about the size of a Weber grill, with wings. They like to congregate on our porch and torment us with their buzzing gospel. Before purchasing this nifty gadget, my husband had refined his skills as a kung fu master with a porch broom with a confirmed kill score of 80%. For those who may not know, Bama is "steamy" this time of year, and preferred recreation is sitting absolutely still. So, evening ninja practice is not the first choice of activities. Enter Bug A salt lawn edition: -The package arrived at 8am by rural postal carrier. The fastest Amazon delivery we've received since moving here. -It came with instructions and a couple stickers that we put on the back porch fridge. -We camoed up and perched, ready for conflict. At close range, the Bug A salt shreds them. Wings, butts, eyeballs.... at a further range, wings are the best to aim for. They death spiral similar to the bombers you see in WW2 coverage clips. As of this evening, I'm convinced we've culled 70% of the horse fly population in Alabama. Alabama will need a new state bird. The only two cons: I have arthritis and it's a bit tough for me to rack quickly. I have to wait till my next paycheck in order to have the trophies mounted by the taxidermist. Cheers y'all!
