I have a defuser, but saw this one and liked the design and features. The thin line around the center omits rotating colors of light, Or you can pick a stationary color with a choice of low or high intensity. When turning it on, you can set it to 1, 3, 6 hours or auto which will stop when it runs out of water. And unlike another reviewer said, when on auto the light will shut off also. It holds more water than my old one and puts out pleanty of mist. I'm very happy with this unit and highly recommend it.
