Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Purchased 3 units. 2 for me and 1 for a friend. An amazing product for any number of reasons: PROS: 1. Sound quality including "distinctive sound at full volume"; 2. Quality "fit and finish" excellent; 3. Ease of operation -- simple "on/off", volume +/-, forward/backward; 4. Bonus features: USB, Microchip, and Auxilliary port with cable. (I listen to audio books and Great Courses Lectures on USB and Microchip) 5. Reasonably priced. CONS: Insignificant, but for the "impatient", pairing TWO speakers for stereo output is a bit "tricky". The instructions state: 1. Turn OFF your bluetooth (apparently you are linking the g speakers, first. The "trick" is in the final "click". It must be a quick or fast click. 2. Turn bluetooth back "on" and perform normal "search/pair" and that connects your phone to both speakers for an awesome effect. Used some very old jazz music with lots of high piano and low bass notes -- Ahmad Jamal and Ramsey Lewis Trio ... outstanding. Almost as good as my giant/heavy magnet "vintage Acoustic Research AR91's". The "unknowable" is life expectancy or durability ... My friend will be a great test -- he lives aboard his 46' sailing vessel. The "waterproof" feature will be put to a good test. Due to the salt water atmosphere, his electronic products don't last long due to corrosion. Summary: A strong recommendation at this point in time. One Month Update: Had significant problems with connecting two speakers for stereo effect. Returned one "suspect" defective speaker and ordered two more. Had to return both. BLUETOOTH is unreliable and connected both speakers intermittently. Also, it is not "easily DISCOVERABLE" by other devices ... is not able to connect to multiple devices as other speakers like the Wonderboom 2 which is 3X the price, but worth the extra cost. I kept one, anyway, as it is more fully featured than other spesker with ports for microchip and thumb drive and aux port.
