I bought this product as a last resort. I have used Affresh for years, and after two babies and numerous accidents, laundered diapers, and other various surprises, my washer was never the same. Affresh did a decent job masking the smells. I continually had to wash my clothes on a deep water cycle and use fabric softener to get the clothes to smell good. I finally decided to to try something. Eco Gals did the job. I'm not sure why they chose to use two smaller tablets, but they seemed to dissolve better and didn't leave the ending residue that you have to wipe off. I have run about 15 cycles on my washer and have noticed my clothes are smelling a lot better and I no longer have to mask the odors with heavy fabric softeners. This product is awesome.
