We bought this to replace our Saeco Intelia. We are THRILLED. The set up is easy. It comes with the filter that gives you 5,000 cups without decalcifying. It’s narrower than many automatic espresso machines and takes up less counter space. The coffee is… incredible. My husband, who is a fan of all things Italian, said this espresso is the closest thing he’s ever tasted to the espresso in Italy. I love the frother. It really works which kinda blows my mind! Just a few years ago you could not get an automatic frother anywhere near this price point. I even put half and half in it and it created a beautiful froth. Both the coffee and milk and are good and hot. It has two profiles (blue and green). Each profile saves your preferences for all of the drinks you enjoy. You choose your aroma, amount of water that goes through the grinds, and either the amount of espresso or the amount of froth depending on the drink. Then you just hit “start brew” and your recipe is saved to your profile. You switch profiles by pressing a button that clearly shows whose profile is active. It rotates through three options: blue profile, green profile, no profile. This machine is programmed for about 12 beverages. I especially liked the latte mochiatto. It’s a latte with plenty of foam on top. Delicious. For Saeco Intelia users: - it’s much narrower - it holds a little more water - you can get 5,000 cups without decalcifying - it has an amazing frother that really works well - It offers saved profiles - It offers 12 different beverages that have different amounts of espresso, water, milk, and froth This is a great machine that will make you a great cup of espresso. Or a latte. Or a cappucino. Or a ristroto (whatever that it). You won’t regret buying this one. We’re thrilled. EDIT: It's been about 9 months since we bought this coffee maker.
