Pretty good; not totally complete
Before buying this set I bought a marker and crayon wood repair set. I thought those were pretty good, but not ideal for deeper repairs. The markers worked great for small, thin scratches, and the crayons were alright for medium scratches, but not good for dings, dents, chips, or big scratches.
I wasn't exactly sure what this set was, but tried it anyways due to the high reviews. In case you aren't sure, it is mainly a set of several tubes of paint and a tube of wood putty. The wood putty is for big, deep repairs and the paints are for shallower repairs and for applying over the wood putty when needed.
I found the wood putty difficult to use because it was a little too dry... it wouldn't trowel on very well. I did mix it pretty well, as the instructions indicated to do. I didn't feel that the putty was any better or easier to use than wood putty you buy at a big box store in a large container for pretty cheap.
The paints were great though. They are thick enough for fairly deep scratches, dents, and chips. Much better than the crayons in the other wood repair set I bought. Also, there is plenty of paint in each tube to last for a lot of repairs. I'm very happy with the paints.
However, for very thin, shallow scratches, I prefer the markers over the paints. The paints are too thick for these types of scratches, where you don't really need to fill anything in, but instead just even out the color. I'm still happy with the kit, but it seems a little strange to market it as a full wood repair kit, but not include markers.
