There are not enough words...loved this story
I've been trying to wrap my head what I want to say about this book. This book was so beautifully written and such a heart felt story. I fell completely in love with the story and the characters. Willow and Hunter are both "damaged" people. They both have disorders that make relationships a challenge for them. When Hunter finds Willow, he knows she is the one, but when he sees every side of her, he doesn't think he is whole enough to be the man that she needs. Willow just needs someone in her life who doesn't leave her. Hunter weasels his way into her heart only to leave her.
This story is one of finding out who your true self is alone before you can be in a relationship. You have to be able to love yourself before you can commit to another person. The issue of family is a big theme in this book as well. Willow and Hunter both come from a family situation that is less than ideal. Sometimes your friends become your "family" when your blood is no where to be found. I loved that Willow's sister and Hunter's brothers all become a family unit together. They were a key component in helping Hunter and Willow find their way back to each other.
This story was heartbreaking but so well written. I've never experienced anyone with these disorders, but the author painted such a vivid picture of what they were going through that I feel as though I've experienced it. These are strong characters and a family that I fell in love with. I can't wait for the other books from this family! And of course I hope that we will get a chance to see where Willow and Hunter are down the road since they still have a journey ahead of them.
