I put this up high on my door to help with our "escaping toddler" problem (2-year-old twins who have learned to unlock the deadbolt and let themselves out). I love it. It's secure. They can't reach it, and it only involved drilling into the inside of the door jamb. So when we remove it, we won't have unsightly holes to fill on the outside of the jamb. Also, it's very discreet and not very noticeable - a huge plus for me, because I didn't want some ugly, black lock in addition to the door knob and the deadbolt. The only reason I took off a point is that I stripped one of the screws using a hand screwdriver. I'm not that strong, so I would hope that these screws were a little tougher than that.
