These came really nicely packaged in a smooth and professional stylist looking box. They were clean and free of debris and really well presented. The brushes have a retro, sleek look and are very stylish. My kids couldn't wait to get their hands on them... brushes, yes, I didn't expect them to get excited over them either, but they are pretty cool looking! They each picked out which one would be theirs. I thought I had bought them for myself, but I guess I was wrong! We have really coarse, long and thick hair, so we're always trying the next new thing in hair care. I really like the Art Naturals brand with their Argan products so I thould I needed to try the brushes! Tangles are an everyday struggle for us. It's so bad, we detangle in the shower with ridiculous amounts of conditioner scalp to ends. I first tried the brush on my daughters ends when her hair was dry and just like with other brushes it was really hard to brush out. When we took it to the shower with conditioner, it was really slippery as there isn't a rubberized grip on the handle, but after we got used to using it, it was really very nice. The brustles aren't quite as long as we need them to be, but for the average person with manageable hair, they wouldn't have that problem. Another really nice aspect for detaingling in the shower is there is no place for the water to gather inside the brush. The brush stays really clean and you dont have to worry about all the water getting out of it because there is no where for it to settle. My five year old daughter never offers to brush her hair on her own, but she likes this brish so much, she keeps asking me if she can do it herself. That in itself is worth the small investment! I would recommend these brushes to anyone with girls because you can seriously never have enough brushes, to anyone who brushes while their hair is wet, and just to anyone wanting a sleek and clean brush.
