With extreme skepticism from working with chemicals for decades, I ordered the Enerzen unit (3.5 grams of Ozone per hour) but was far from convinced that it would remove the odors from my garden shed, where the neighborhood cats had used it as a litter box, a wild possum had died inside months ago and the stench was overwhelming. The unit arrived well packaged and was brand new, and a very brief test produced the strong smell of ozone, so I gave it a try. Amazingly, it worked fine and the shed odor is completely gone after 1 treatment of 80 minutes. It was well worth the money. The Enerzen unit really exceeded my expectations. Although the unit is the kind that requires replacement of ceramic plate after about 5,000 hours of use, that should be more than enough time to deodorize almost everything imaginable and replacement plates can be purchased. The Ozone it emits is very strong stuff, so you can't stay in the room while the unit is operating, but after an hour of airing the room, it will smell fresh and ready to occupy. I found no lingering odors at all from the unit, although the unit does have the usual "new electronics" smell that disappears after a few days or so. The unit destroys odors at the source using Ozone instead of filtering out odors like the usual air purifier, and it is worth repeating that people need to evacuate the room while the unit is operating because Ozone it produces is intense.
