I searched for several months for a perfect body pillow. I have used body pillows for the last 20 years bc of my chronic pain disorder. Most of them go flat quickly and get thrown away. I am now 5 months pregnant and needed a really GOOD one!!! I didn't want to pay $70 for a pregnancy pillow bc I don't like the funky shapes they come in. I am 5'8" and about 190 pounds and I hate when my feet and ankles hang off the body pillow like most of the cheap ones. This pillow is long enough for my entire legs and half way up my chest so that I can wrap my arms around it to prevent shoulder pain also. The pillow is VERY full!!! I was shocked how big it got when I took it out of the package. Don't get intimidated! It does get less fluffy after a few weeks. I actually liked how crazy puffy it was, so I kinda wish it would have stayed that big. Lol. But it is still decently fluffy even after taking my abuse for about a month now. The case provided is not super soft, but I don't find it aversive either. I don't put my face on the body pillow, so it doesn't need to be a silk or satin cover to make me happy. If you're using it for your head you may want to purchase a softer case. I sleep in a queen bed with my husband who is 6' tall and about 185 as well as our cat. All four of us (husband, me, cat, and Sam -the pillow) comfortable fit. If my husband needed a body pillow too we would probably have a bit of trouble fitting. The pillow is heavier than an average body pillow but I don't have trouble rolling over with it. My favorite thing is that the pillow doesn't hold heat like some of the more expensive memory foam pillows. I like to sleep cool so this was really a great feature! The only problem I've had with the pillow is that my husband is a little jealous of how much I like cuddling with it!!!! Update- I've had this for about 3 years now and still love it and sleep with it daily. It's gotten a little more relaxed/squashed, but still very fluffy for a 3 year old body pillow. This is way better than other body pillows I've tried in the past.
