I normally don't write reviews but I had to for this device. I'm currently deployed in Iraq and I was super worried about my ability to cut my own hair because of the 220v with my 110v clippers. I saw some reviews that described that it would work but I was still skeptical because no one had a video (so I provided one). This Bestek is spot on. The reason that most converters don't work is because the FREQUENCY is not correct ... not only the output voltage. This step-down converter does a great job at getting the frequency correct. I have tried it off several generators and fixed electrical circuits and it works on everyone. Some people say this device is loud, but they are seriously exaggerating. It is nonlouder than your computer fan. So a definite 5 stars for this Bestek converter. Enjoy!
