I had previously purchased a couple of other floating solar fountains that did not work well. I was skeptical, but based on the reviews am glad I did. It arrived in the middle of the afternoon ( lower sunlight) but started pumping and was still going the late faint sun light. The adjustable spray head is GREAT. I have a fairly shallow birdbath so did not want much spray and this is an option. I have this in an urn planter and it makes a wonderful fountain. It is in a really sunny spot and it started working almost immediately when I placed it in the water.also it works in shade and in the evening when the sun is down and i loves it and now, I'm happy that it does what it claims. There are numerous spray patterns options, but I have not experimented with them as I loved the first one I tried. normally the pump is not moving around the planter.I really love it.
