Phase 1 is packing my mattress and box spring into these protective plastic bags and storing them in a self-move container for a few months. It was easy to slide the mattress and box spring into the bags. My mattress is Queen Size, and it is pillow top on both sides. It is 12 inches deep and the bag cover was about 15 inches deep. The bags were generous in size, and allowed for ample closure using clear packing tape. The size of the bags was perfect and there were no problems whatsoever. Phase 2 will be to remove the stored mattress & box spring from the storage container and bags in a couple of months. I will report on Phase 2 sometime in the near future. UPDATE for Phase 2: The mattress and box spring made it through the move undamaged! They remained dry, clean, and totally unscathed during the 850 mile transport and 6 week stay in the storage container. Highly recommend this product.
