Read first before turning on!
This was a great little purchase for my living room. It's only 11'x11' and I work in there daily, so wanted something quiet, sleek, and useful. BUT there's a plastic bag INSIDE the unit over the hepa filter that must be removed prior to turning it on the first time. But I highly recommend this unit!
