Review on second bag recieved today: So the bag we got our son for Christmas 2 years ago was stolen at college. I thought, "no problem"...I'll just go on amazon and order the exact same bag again since the first was so nice. Welp, the new bag came today and the quality is not nearly as good as the bag from 2 years ago. The leather is thinner and not as soft. More flimsy than 2 years ago. Very disappointed and now would not recommend buying this bag. It looks like they are using cheaper materials to make more of a profit. Stinks. UPDATE: OK..so I went back and changed my 2-star to a 5-star review. After submitting the 2-star review, I came across the letter that came with the back that asked the consumer to directly contact the seller before posting a review. I didn't see it until afterwards! Well, I emailed the seller directly and he promptly sent me another bag and the quality of the new bag was excellent. Leather is thick and gorgeous. I guess quality control could be a bit better, but maybe I just got a fluke. It happens, I guess. So I take it all back and I have to say, customer service is OUTSTANDING. Go ahead and buy the bag. You won't regret it. Original review on the first bag (two years ago):Our son asked for a Leatherology shave bag for Christmas. When we looked up that brand, we almost fell out of our chairs. Two hundred bucks for a small leather bag? Uh....no. So we found this one for a whole lot less but I don't think we sacrificed quality at all. It's a beautiful bag and had that genuine leathery smell out of the box. Nice variations in the color that you would expect from a natural leather product. Double zipper is super handy and guess what? Our son LOVES it. No complaints about not getting the name-brand overpriced bag.
