I've been looking everywhere for a flat heeled boot and was very excited to see these on Amazon at such a reasonable price. I was skeptical when ordering that they would be good quality being priced lower than most boots but was pleasantly surprised upon their arrival. I ordered normal width in size 10 and the fit is just right on both foot length as well as calf width and height. They are not too tight in the calf area and not loose either but remain upright when worn without slouching down your leg. The buckle you see in the picture is not adjustable. The color you see in the photo is pretty spot on as well, I was hoping it would be slightly richer brown but I still like it and think the color is probably even more versatile. The inside of the boot is lined and keeps my legs warm but doesn't overheat. Most importantly, this boot is comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I'm someone who is on my feet all day long at work and am very particular about the shoes I wear and have limited tolerance for uncomfortable shoes. I've worn these boots both for long periods of time with limited walking and for long periods of time with lots of walking and have been very satisfied with the comfort level without needing to add any kind of insert, but adding one would likely only make them that much better. I am very, very satisfied with this purchase and plan on buying the boot in the black color as well. Finally I've found a boot for me!
