Super easy to use. The first two modes are very quiet if even detectable. The 3rd mode you can hear, my dogs did react. I was thinking I would run it while I am walking the dogs or I am not home or leave it on for the garage..I do have mice in there... I live near a wooded area, hard to keep them away. I got product because I do not like to use poison because I worry about my dogs or other animals getting a hold of a poisoned mouse. I have heard some in my walls quite frequently before. I just have the device on the quieter second mode, and even though it should only work for mice on 3rd, I have not heard them the last 3 days. So... maybe it is helping even so. Either way, I am happy with it.
