I like these canisters and they are super. However, they are purported to hold 10 pounds of flour and they will not. I use King Arthur All-Purpose, King Arthur Bread, and White Lily All-Purpose. So, I do have a variety of flours for checking. You can get about 8 pounds in the cannister. I would probably have not purchased them if it was not clearly stated they held 10# of flour. I did not return them because I had washed one and prepared it to use happy in my "they will hold 10# of flour" world. Reality then hit when I saw that these were not big enough for the purpose. An expensive mistake on my part. Please, dear reader, don't make the same mistake. I am a "vintage" baker and a bit on the fluffy-side physically. I am well versed in the art of tamping, jiggle and smoosh. You can't get 10 pounds of flour in these. Otherwise, they are well-made and great containers. I will use them in my baking pantry with pride as they display my not 10 pounds of flours. :-) EDIT: 3/5/2021 I had a lid crack on these containers. I was fairly annoyed so, I wrote to the company. The containers were about one year old. I felt they should have lasted far beyond that time frame. I am so pleased to report that the co-owner of the company, Chef's Path, emailed me. I received an apology and an immediate request for my address to send me a new lid. I got a tracking number and it came immediately. However, it was not a new lid but an entirely new set!!!!! I was so pleased and happy with the replacement but happier with the email and the superb customer service! I changed my 4-star rating to 5 stars based on this great experience. I plan to order larger containers from them that will hold 10 pounds~ EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
