I had the older version of this classic food processor when it was made of white plastic. When it yellowed I made the mistake of giving it to a friend and replacing with a newer machine. I tried a cheaper brand which was not great. Then I went up-market with the very expensive 14-cup Kitchenaid. It was worse than the cheaper one before; what a piece of crap. I put it in the garbage. I finally received my new Cuisinart from Amazon which had the best price and am happy to be reunited with my old, favourite food processor but now in stainless steel. It's every bit as amazing as I remembered. It's simple. It's cleans easily in the dishwasher without discolouring or getting cloudy. It's quiet and smooth and powerful. I couldn't be happier!
