This has bubbled away all summer in my bird bath. It attracts birds like crazy. Luckily there was a hint to use gravel (like fish tank gravel) to filter the water. Once I stuffed the entrance to the pump with the fish gravel, the bubbler worked continuously. Before that, I had to clean the bath daily.
